What this is. Friendlies is a small, unofficial fan
archive of photos of TJPW wrestlers and events, run by one person. The
photos were gathered from public posts; they remain the property of
their creators. Faces in the archive are matched to names using
face-recognition software run on the site owner’s own computer.
If you appear in a photo, or own one, and want it removed or credited,
email help@friendlymarks.com
and it will be taken down. We usually reply within a week.
What we collect about you. A username, an email
address, and a password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain
text) when you register. We log the IP address of sign-in and
registration attempts for security (rate-limiting abuse, spotting
break-in attempts). If you use the site we also store whatever you
choose to save yourself — favorited photos, saved searches, and
things you save from the Playground (the choices that make up a card
and a small preview picture of it). If you ask to become a Friend we
keep your request and the message you wrote; if you upload photos we
keep the photos and their file names while they are reviewed and after.
Everything you save is private to your account.
Who else touches your data. We don’t sell or rent
your information, and there’s no advertising or analytics
tracking. A few services do handle small parts of it on our behalf:
Mailgun delivers the verification and password-reset emails
(so it sees your email address); Cloudflare Turnstile checks
that sign-ups come from a person, and loads a script from Cloudflare
(seeing your IP address and basic browser signals) when you open the
sign-up form; and if you play a theme song, YouTube (via its
privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player) loads in a frame. Fonts
and everything else are served from this site itself.
Cookies. The only cookie this site sets is the one
that keeps you signed in and protects forms from forgery. It’s
required for the site to work and isn’t used for tracking or
advertising. (Turnstile and YouTube may set their own while their
frames are open.)
Your data, your call. You can delete your account and
everything tied to it at any time from the Account tab of your Locker
room (person icon in the top bar) — it’s immediate and
permanent. Photos you uploaded to the archive stay in it unless you ask
us to remove them. Activity-log entries
that were tied to your account are kept only in anonymised form (no
username or IP address). If you’d rather we do it for you, or
